Evidence and method

Sources and methods

The field guides connect natural-history interpretation to published assessments, government material, research, and conservation sources. This page lists the records behind those readings so you can check the evidence in context.

A source supports a claim; it does not make an illustration documentary. Population figures and status labels belong to the cited assessment and its date. Where a claim is uncertain, the guide says so.
